Announcing the Army JROTC 13th Brigade Academic Challenge!

Who:
Each JROTC unit in the 13th Brigade will sponsor two teams of four cadets --  a team from LET I students (four cadets) and a team from LET II-IV students (four cadets).

When:     
The online competition will be held January 7 - 16, 2009.  Your team may compete anytime during those dates --- it only takes an hour to compete in this fast-paced, online test of your knowledge and team skills. 

How:     
Register to participate by logging onto our competition website (www.cofcontests.com) beginning December 15, 2008.  During registration, your team will provide basic information (address, LET I or II-IV team, instructor contact, and names of cadets on the team) and then have an opportunity to see a few practice questions and test your internet connection/computer settings.  Then, when the competition begins, your teams will simply need to log onto the competition website (www.cofcontests.com) and enter a password.

What:
Fifty questions will test your knowledge of JROTC curriculum and current events.  The LET II-IV teams will also be tested on math, science and English (similar to college entrance exam questions).  Each question will have a time limit, so your team will have to think fast and react quickly.
