In addition to his experience with the delivery of instruction and the development of traditional and media- based instructional materials, Dr. Belinski began developing interactive computer-based training in 1989. Dr. Belinski has been on the faculty of four universities designing, developing and instructing graduate and undergraduate level courses in instructional systems design and development, instructional technology, audiovisual production and presentation, television production, photography, and multimedia computer-based training. He also has presented at national and international conferences on a variety of training and educational topics. Dr. Belinski has a Masters in Educational Media from Miami University (Ohio) and a Doctor of Education degree (Instructional Technology) from the University of Georgia. Ms. Gard began her career in the design and development of automated manufacturing applications. Over the course of her career she has worked with relational databases, artificial intelligence and custom application development. She has managed the full life cycle of manufacturing automation projects in the U.S. and internationally. More recently Ms. Gard has been involved with the development of web-based applications including many for education support and fundraising. Prior to her work designing educational computer systems, Ms. Belinski was a Peace Corps volunteer in Malawi, Africa. She worked for the Ministry of Agriculture performing various computer related functions including development of their budgeting, accounting, and reporting software. Ms. Belinski also was responsible for teaching the Ministry of Agriculture personnel how to correctly use the computer software. He has more than twenty five years in strategic marketing and distribution of broadcast and home media in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America. His expertise includes campaigns for dozens of documentaries and entertainment programs with such production and distribution partners as PBS, BBC, Channel 4 (UK), RAI-TV, Octapixx Worldwide, Madacy Entertainment, Koch Entertainment, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel and many others. Ron regularly attends the following television markets: MIPCOM, MIPTV, Junior MIP, MIPDOC (all in Cannes, France), NATPE (Las Vegas) and Home Media Expo (Las Vegas). Through his company, Maxx Marketing, programs that Ron has produced, acquired or represents can be seen on broadcast television networks and in retail giant such as Barnes and Noble, Target and WalMart, throughout the world. With a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Ron is a frequent guest lecturer in Marketing at the prestigious Citadel; The Military College of South Carolina, located in Charleston. Ron lives in Charleston, South Carolina, is married to Vicki Small and they have two young daughters.
